Winter Meditation: Tapping into the Rest and Renewal of the Season

I am sharing this winter meditation with the hope that it will bring you much peace, comfort, and relaxation. I also hope that it helps you be more present.

Winter is often difficult for many people because of the shorter, colder days… and is even more difficult in this year of the pandemic and other global issues, especially because we are not able to spend time indoors with loved ones as we had been able to do in pre-pandemic times.

This has definitely been a year of struggles for many people, and it’s understandable that it’s so easy to want 2020 to be over with and for 2021 to start. I encourage you to be mindful of the present despite that: see if you can identify some things to be grateful for or that are joyful in the present moment. I hope that this winter meditation is a good starting place to help you become more present.

If you are in Maryland and are looking for a therapist to help you on your healing journey in 2021, contact me to see if we’re a good fit to work together. I am continuing to work with all clients online via telehealth so am able to serve people local to Reisterstown as well as throughout all of Maryland.
